Yoga For Stress & Mental Health – Winter 2012
Join us this winter for our new course: Yoga for Stress & Mental Health.
This 6 session course is suitable for people who want to maintain mental wellness, who are experiencing stress/chronic stress in life, or those living with mild-moderate depression or anxiety.
The course will address how the mind-body experience stress and chronic stress and a yogic perspecitve on depression and anxiety. Students will learn a variety of yoga postures, breathing techniques and meditation practices that calm and settle the nervous system as well as those that invigorate and energize the mind-body. Students will be guided to reflect on their needs and be provided with practical tools to maintain wellness.
The course will be on the following 6 Sundays, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. ~ April 1 to May 13 (no session on Easter Sunday) in the southwest area of Hamilton.
Fee: $240 (12 hour course)
Registration by March 15.
